Weight Loss and Swimming

Exercises in swimming pool that contribute to weight loss should be referred to an auxiliary way of correction of a figure. What does "the auxiliary way" mean? It means that it is not possible to lose 10 - 15 or more kg only with the help of swimming, but it is possible to lose 2 - 5 kg, or it is possible to get rid of 10 - 15 or more kg, but only under condition of following corresponding diet and some other individual recommendations.

Exercises in pool for weight loss have number of advantages over usual exercises on air. The main advantage is decrease of loading on joints and backbone.

Therefore doing exercises in pool makes possible not only weight loss, but also restoring of work of joints and a backbone. During exercises in pool it is practically impossible to be traumatized - this is very important for fat people with weakened ligaments, joints, muscles and so on. It is much more difficult to perform even simple movements in water than on air, because water resists to our movement and more forces muscles to work harder. Therefore, it is possible to make active a metabolism in muscles with the help of the elementary exercises in water that on air have less influence. Except this water environment renders massage influence on skeletal muscles and internal organs that favorably affects functioning of all organism.
